Job Description
We are currently seeking a reliable Stockyard Supervisor Hand to join our team at SPM Malvern, based just outside of Christchurch.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has worked in a manufacturing environment and has worked with stock previously. This role requires leadership of a team, and therefore team or departmental supervision experience would be favourable; however full training is available to those who can demonstrate they have the right attributes to be successful in this role.
Key responsibilities of the position include:
- Supervising the receiving of stock and relevant processes
- Supporting the management of animal welfare within the department
- Reconciling the stock numbers and daily process figures
- Communicating with other departments and key personnel to ensure efficient receipt and processing of stock
- Making sure that all compliance and regulatory requirements are strictly adhered to
- Continuously improving standards and efficiency
- Recording and processing documentation/departmental administration in an accurate and timely manner
