Job Description

Reporting to the Nightshift Cleaning Supervisor, this role is focused on the pre-operation and post-operation cleaning processes throughout the site to ensure compliance and all necessary standards are maintained. This work is fast paced and requires people that are reliable, motivated, fit and healthy with a positive attitude.

A Green Team Night Cleaner is expected to handle various chemicals (with the supplied appropriate PPE and training) and clean process areas (Boning & Slaughter) as well as offices.

Key requirements include:

  •     Being a friendly, approachable team-player
  •     A good work ethic and a can-do attitude
  •     A proven track record of being reliable and punctual.
  •     Demonstrating excellent time management
  •     Ability to follow instructions and work unsupervised.

The Green Team Night Cleaners work 20 to 30 hours a week; between 8 pm and 5:30 am and must be available Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays as required. Applicants must be available to work these required hours. 

 

Qualifications

The successful applicant must:

  •     Have Numeracy & Literacy skills to NCEA Level 2
  •     Proof of work eligibility to work in NZ
  •     Always put safety first
  •     Be keen to learn new skills

Commercial cleaning experience is advantageous; alternatively, experience in a manufacturing-type environment would also be considered.
