Job Description
Join AFFCO Moerewa as a Maintenance Planner and play a
key role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and performance of our plant
operations.
Reporting to the Plant Engineer, you will be
responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities across the
site, working closely with trades, contractors, and production teams to ensure
work is delivered safely and with minimal disruption.
In this role, you will balance forward planning,
coordination, and on-the-ground collaboration to keep maintenance activities
running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule all R&M (repairs and maintenance) and preventative maintenance work
- Ensure required parts and resources are available to support planned work
- Coordinate contractors, including ensuring all compliance, liability agreements, and insurance requirements are current
- Manage procurement activities, including sourcing quotes and ordering parts
- Maintain and control electrical and mechanical inventory levels
- Oversee compliance registers and ensure accurate use of CMMS systems (including MEX)
- Work closely with Supervisors and production teams to minimise downtime and support operational requirements
About You
We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive
individual who can manage competing priorities and build strong working
relationships across the site.
You will bring:
- Maintenance or planning experience within an industrial environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and activities
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confidence using CMMS systems (MEX experience advantageous)
It would be a bonus if you have:
- Mechanical and/or electrical knowledge
- Project management experience
- Experience with systems such as MS Teams, MS Office, Smartsheet, Forms, or Power BI
