About the Role
AFFCO is seeking an Integration Lead to join our IT team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our enterprise data and systems landscape. Reporting to the IT Manager and based at our Horotiu Head Office, this position will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the critical integrations that connect our business systems, partners, suppliers, and customers.
This is an exciting opportunity for a technically capable professional who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You'll lead the development of modern integration solutions, support business automation initiatives, and help drive our digital transformation journey.
As the Integration Lead, you will own and continuously improve AFFCO's integration environment, ensuring reliable, scalable, and secure data flows across the organisation. Working closely with business stakeholders, software teams, vendors, and technology partners, you will deliver solutions that enable smarter decision-making, increased automation, and enhanced business performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and maintaining a modern API-led integration architecture.
- Developing and supporting integrations, APIs, and EDI connections.
- Managing strategic integration projects and third-party technology partners.
- Driving DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and best practice integration processes.
- Implementing monitoring, telemetry, and support frameworks to improve reliability and resilience.
- Supporting AI and automation initiatives across the business.
- Ensuring integration solutions meet security, compliance, and governance requirements.
- Partnering with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver effective technology solutions.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 4 years' experience designing and delivering scalable integration solutions using API-led architectures.
- Strong experience with integration platforms, middleware technologies, and ideally Azure Integration Services.
- Experience managing vendors and technology partners.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical leadership capabilities.
- An understanding of security, compliance, and data governance principles.
- The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience within manufacturing, food processing, or industrial environments.
- Knowledge of AI technologies and intelligent automation solutions.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise systems and integrations.
