Job Description
We are currently seeking an adaptable Freezer Supervisor to join our Plant Leadership team based at our Rangiuru plant in Te Puke. As a member of a dynamic leadership team, the Freezer Supervisor is responsible for the cold storage operations and effective liaison with all internal and external customers. 

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for planning, supervising and documentation of the day-to-day operations of our Freezer Department.

Key requirements for this role are a proven ability to:

• Manage the freezer's inventory movement, productivity and quality documentation.
• Manage MPI and AFFCO compliance processes, customer product specification, health and safety and cold chain management processes.
• Manage the IT system for the freezers.
• Control fixed and variable costs of labour, materials and plant.
• Supervision of Cold Storage staff including training and shift rosters.
• Solid administration skills with at least intermediate-level proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Actively promote Health & Safety. 

While previous experience in a similar role is an advantage, we are willing to offer training to a successful applicant with suitable experience and attitude.
