Job Description
We’re looking
for a motivated and detail‑focused Compliance Verifier to join our Compliance
Team at AFFCO Rangiuru.
In this role,
you’ll be responsible for monitoring and verifying that the site meets all
regulatory, customer, and company compliance requirements. You’ll work across
slaughter floors, offal rooms, and associated support areas to ensure our
processes align with documented programmes such as HACCP, RMP, OMARs, and other
supporting systems. When issues arise, you’ll help ensure they are identified,
controlled, corrected, and prevented from recurring.
You’ll also
support the Compliance Manager with the coordination and continuous improvement
of site systems covering regulatory, customer, environmental, and health &
safety compliance.
Based at the
AFFCO Rangiuru plant, and reporting to the Compliance Manager, you will be
responsible for:
- Monitoring plant areas to ensure compliance with Regulatory, Company, and Customer requirements.
- Verifying key issues, key topics, CARs, OMARs, and other compliance matters.
- Identifying non‑conformances and ensure corrective and preventative actions are completed and effective.
- Carrying out departmental overviews and record checks as required.
- Supporting the Compliance Manager with site compliance systems and documentation.
- Conducting sampling, understand micro requirements, and complete verification and statistical data entry.
- Performing Quality Assurance tasks when required.
- Working collaboratively with production, compliance, and wider plant teams.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role we are looking for someone with:
- A documented QA qualification in auditing and verification.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with plant staff.
- Solid computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- A practical mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow issues through to closure.
- A willingness to learn and apply OMAR, RMP, HACCP, and other compliance programme requirements.
