Job Description

We are urgently looking for keen and physically fit Labourers interested in progressing a career in the meat industry.

We are looking for determined Labourers who have a passion for fast moving manufacturing and want to learn skills that are in high demand worldwide.

We require Labourers to join our busy team and train beyond entry level meat process workers at our processing plant located in Whanganui.

This is a fast paced and dynamic environment to work in and requires people that are reliable, motivated and fit and healthy with a positive attitude.

Hours of work vary from 30 – 50 hours per week and applicants must be available to work overtime when necessary. The hourly rate ranges from $23.95 to $35.00, depending on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• We are seeking applicants for a variety of processing roles across both day and nightshift.
• Successful applicants must:
• always put safety first
• be keen to learn new skills
• be able to work on a roster including weekends
• enjoy working in a diverse team.

To ensure a safe workplace, AFFCO conducts pre-employment medical checks and drug screening. Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
